House Photos

I went back for a second look at the house on Tricorn Road tonight and I snapped a few photos. I didn't take our good camera because I wanted to be stealthy about taking the photos, so I used our little point and shoot. All in all I think this house has a lot to offer. There is some traffic noise as the turnpike is nearby, but I think we would get used to that. The pluses are 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, 2 car garage and nice yard.

There is a small foyer inside the front door with steps leading upstairs. If you're standing in the front door to the left is the living room. Yes, that is pink carpet with light blue walls and a flowery border. Do you think we should ask for the pink curtains to be included so we can keep this look?Through the living room is the dining room with more pink carpet...

Here's the kitchen, good counterspace but maybe a little short on cabinets. I really like the window by the sink, but I'm not a fan of the weird random stained glass window in the family room by the french doors...any ideas on what can we do about that?

The kitchen is open to the family room which has a wood burning fireplace and french doors to the deck. The white door on the right leads to the garage, laundry room and powder room, and there's another door that would have been to my right as I took this photo and that leads to the basement...
Not the prettiest finished basement, but I think it would make a fine playroom...

There's a nice deck out back and the yard is a half an acre...

Here's the master bedroom, I dont know why the photo looks fuzzy like that, that's what I get for not taking the nice camera...
master bath...
One of the guest bedrooms. They are all a pretty good size
Guest bathroom...
That's it. I'm pretty sure we're going to put in a bid, so keep your fingers crossed for us!

I really like the house! :) And I think the hummingbird stained glass window is cute...it would stand out and look better if it didn't have the striped wallpaper surrounding it! Definitely a good house to bid on!!

I agree with mom, the hummingbird window isn't that bad, although I bet we could come up with some options to replace it, eventually.

My priorities would definitely be the wallpaper and pink carpet...yuck! The people currently living there have no decorating sense. That being said, the house itself is awesome. I think it will be the perfect size for a family, and best of all, it won't need to be just a "starter home". With 4 bedrooms, you'll totally have room to grow.

:-D

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

PS I'm glad the guest bedrooms are a good size. I call the one with the biggest bed and bathroom!
