I'm finally getting around to posting on the blog again! Here is a photo of dad with his 22 inch pickerel that he caught on President's Day when we went fishing with Chris from dad's office. It was a decent day, we caught about 12-14 fish - all pickerel except for one lone bass that I caught. Unfortunately, Dad's pickerel was the only one that was big enough to keep! But this fish along with the pickerel and bass we have in the freezer will give us enough for a fish dinner. Yay! Not sure how much longer the ice will be good. Dad is hoping to get out fishing again this week, which maybe the last time this winter, they are calling for warmer weather at the end of the week.
