We've been so lucky to have tons of help from friends and family and have really made a lot of progress updating our new house. I'm hoping to find time to put together a little album of "before and after" shots, but here's a sneak peak of what we've accomplished already...

The wallpaper above the chair rail came down pretty easily...
And so did the glue layer underneath it...
But...the maroon wallpaper on the bottom of the wall didn't cooperate at all and we had to rent a steamer from Home Depot to get that off...
I'm loving the new paint that we choose for this room!
Dining Room
This wallpaper also came down without too much trouble although there were quite a few spots that required patching...
New paint!
