Today I delivered my first cake that was requested by a non-family member! Danielle asked for a cake that was similar to the one I made for Reese, but less girly since she was having a combined birthday party for Grace and Grace's cousin Owen. I was given this napkin as my inspiration and color palette....
And here's the finished product...what do you think?

Fits perfectly with the napkin! I would've loved that cake when I was little (come to think of it, I would love that cake now :)) I love the little cupcake for Grace to play with on the side. You absolutely need pictures where the little ones get buttercream all over their face.
Wooho, I finally got on! But not through the link Laura emailed me, I don't think that works. Anyway, the cake looks really good! :) The colors match the napkin perfectly. And I also love the Phillies cake too, only one question.. where is the Philly Phanatic!?! lol
Thanks for all of the compliments!! Danielle just called me and said that everyone at the party loved the cake...they thought it looked professional and tasted better than bakery cakes they've had, and one of Mike's aunts asked Danielle if I left any business cards! So it was a hit. :)
